Inheritance Made Simple
For Estate Planners & Will Writers

The estate planning opportunity of a generation is here. Are you positioned to make the most of it?

Whether you're an established estate planner looking for a better home for your practice, or someone building a meaningful career in this profession from the ground up - we're looking for proactive practitioners who want to do this work properly, with the tools, the network and the pipeline to back them up. In April 2027, pension assets become subject to inheritance tax for the first time. Millions of families need to act, and most of them don't know it yet.

The window is open - but not for long

The April 2027 inheritance tax changes represent the most significant shift in estate planning in a generation. From that date, unspent pension assets will fall within a deceased's estate for IHT purposes - affecting millions of people who have spent decades assuming their pension would pass to their family tax-free.

The advice gap is enormous. The urgency is real. And the estate planners who are in front of clients now - explaining what's changing, what it means, and what can still be done - will define their practices for the next decade.

The question is whether you have the tools, the support and the pipeline to make the most of it.

What working under the Inheritance Made Simple umbrella looks like

We are not a franchise. We are not a call centre. We are a specialist estate planning group that has built something most practitioners spend their careers wishing existed - a modern, intelligent platform that handles the administration, the document management, the client records and the follow-up, so that you can spend your time doing the work that actually requires your expertise.

You bring the skill and the client relationships. We provide everything else.

    The Platform

Built for estate planners. Built for what's coming.

    Digital Will Management

Every will you write is stored, tracked and managed on our platform. Amendments, renewals and storage notifications are handled automatically. No filing cabinets. No chasing.

    Client Relationship Management

A complete CRM built specifically for estate planners. Every client record, every document, every interaction - in one place, accessible from anywhere.

    Automated Client Communications

Review reminders, IHT update notifications, LPA prompts and anniversary communications go out automatically. Your clients hear from you regularly without you having to remember.

    Appointment Scheduling

Integrated booking so clients can schedule consultations directly. No back-and-forth. No missed opportunities.

    Inheritance Tax Planning Tools

Built-in IHT calculators and planning frameworks so you can demonstrate the impact of the April 2027 changes in real time during a client meeting.

    Document Scanning & Digitisation

Existing paper-based wills and documents scanned and uploaded to the platform. Historic client records brought into the system cleanly and completely.

    Referral Network

Direct introductions to FCA-regulated advisers for clients who need help with pensions, investments and IHT mitigation that sits beyond the scope of will writing alone.

    Branded Client Portal

Your clients access their documents through a professional portal. Inheritance Made Simple infrastructure. Your professional relationship front and centre.

    "

Every family in the UK should have a Will. Most don't. That's not a problem - it's an opportunity.

    Commercial Arrangement

    A straightforward two-part model

    Part One

    Platform Access

A monthly platform licence gives you full access to the technology, the CRM, the document management system, the automated communications and the client portal. Everything you need to run a modern estate planning practice without the overhead of building it yourself.

Pricing is structured to reflect the size of your practice - whether you are a sole practitioner seeing ten clients a month or an established operation writing hundreds of wills a year.

    Part Two

    Fee Share

For clients introduced through the Inheritance Made Simple network - whether from our website, our marketing or our referral relationships - we operate a fee share arrangement. You do the work. We provide the client. The fee is split transparently and fairly.

As the April 2027 deadline approaches, our marketing activity across inheritancemadesimple.com and associated platforms is generating a growing volume of client enquiries. Network members are first in line for those introductions.

    What we believe

We believe every family in the UK should have a will. We believe the majority of people who need inheritance tax advice have no idea they need it. And we believe the estate planners who are willing to go out and have those conversations - properly, professionally, with the right tools behind them - are doing work that genuinely matters.

The April 2027 changes are not a sales opportunity. They are a genuine crisis for millions of families who are about to lose money they assumed was protected. The estate planner who reaches those families in time can make a material difference to their lives.

That is the work we are here to support.

    Who we're looking for

We want to hear from estate planners and will writers who:

    • Are qualified and practising - whether independently or currently working under another umbrella
    • Are frustrated by outdated systems, poor administrative support or a lack of client pipeline
    • Understand the significance of the April 2027 IHT changes and want to be positioned to advise on them
    • Are motivated to grow their practice and their income
    • Want to work with a forward-thinking group that is investing seriously in technology and marketing

We are equally interested in experienced practitioners looking to expand and newly qualified professionals looking for the right environment to build their practice.

    The conversation starts here

We don't ask for a CV. We ask for a conversation.

Tell us briefly about your practice - where you are, how long you've been operating, roughly how many clients you work with and what's prompted you to look for something different.

From there we'll arrange a call at a time that works for you. No obligation on either side until you decide you want there to be.

The families who need estate planning advice right now don't know they need it yet.The estate planner who reaches them first will earn their trust for life.We can help you be that person.
